Every book club has the same problem: finding a night when most people can come. LockInStep lets members vote on a few dates, suggest a host or a spot, and then sends everyone the details. Set it to repeat and it finds next month's date on its own.

How to plan it with LockInStep

  1. Connect your calendar. Link Google or Outlook so LockInStep only offers times you're free. It sees busy times only, never event details.
  2. Pick "book club". Choose the activity and LockInStep suggests good times for it. Add a cover photo if you like.
  3. Share one link. Text it, email it or drop it in the group chat. Guests don't need an app or an account.
  4. Vote on when and where. Everyone marks the times that work and votes on the host's house or a café. You see the favorite at a glance.
  5. Lock it in. Pick the winner. Everyone gets the details and an add-to-calendar button, and you get alerts as people RSVP.

Yes. Turn on "let people suggest places" and members can add their home or a favorite café, then everyone votes.

Do my friends need to download an app?

No. LockInStep works in any phone or computer browser. Guests tap your link, add their first name, and vote. You can add LockInStep to your home screen so it opens like an app.

How does LockInStep find a time that works?

Connect Google or Outlook and LockInStep only offers times you are actually free, inside the hours you like for that activity. Friends vote yes, maybe or no on each option and the best time rises to the top.

Can LockInStep help pick a place too?

Yes. You can add places, paste a Google Maps, OpenTable or Yelp link, or pick from spots near you or a ZIP code. Guests can vote on places and suggest their own.
